Use AI for the draft. Make the words yours.
AI text gets flagged because it sounds like everyone and no one. This free course shows you why that happens and teaches the editing habits that put your facts, your opinions and your rhythm back in. Readers notice the difference. So do detectors.
In today's fast-paced digital landscape, effective communication plays a crucial role in the success of any business.

Human or AI? Check your writing
Paste at least 80 words. The AI detector scores six habits that AI text tends to share, marks the exact phrases to fix, charts your sentence rhythm and lists your most repeated words. There's also a full-page version of the AI detector, and a word counter with social media limits.
Marked-up copy
Sentence rhythm
Each bar is one sentence, in order. Human writing usually looks jagged.
Top repeated words
Your 10 most repeated words, leaving out small words like "the", "and" and pronouns.
Like every AI detector, this one reads writing style, so its score is an estimate, not proof. No detector can tell with certainty who wrote a passage. Short texts, formal writing and writing by non-native English speakers get flagged more often than they should. Treat the score as a list of edits to consider, never as evidence against a person. Your text is checked on our server and is not stored. How to read detector scores.
Seven modules, in the order you'll need them
First you learn what gives AI text away. Then you feed the model better material, edit with a system, and make it a habit you can use on any kind of writing.

What we believe about writing with AI
Good writing is the goal
Detectors chase a moving target and disagree with each other. Writing that's specific, clear and in your own voice holds up whichever tool reads it. It's also better for the people reading it.
Detectors make mistakes
A 2023 Stanford study found that popular detectors flagged most essays by non-native English speakers as AI-written. If that's happened to you, lesson 6.3 walks you through it.
Know the rules where you write
Some schools and employers welcome AI drafts. Some require disclosure. Some ban it for graded work. This course helps you write better. It isn't a way around a rule you agreed to. See Using AI honestly.
